A DAY ON THE GREEN – A DECADE OF DELIGHTING MUSIC LOVERS
Australia’s favourite outdoor event A Day On The Green celebrates 10 years of combining premier Australian and International artists with magnificent wineries across the country. Since the first show in January 2001 over 1.5 million happy patrons have embraced the event, which brings together friends, family, great food, beautiful scenery and most importantly fantastic music.
A Day On The Green runs in the balmy Australian summer months from October – March with over 40 late afternoon/evening concerts per season. New Zealand came on board four years ago and last year hosted 8 shows.
So far the 2011 lineup includes jazz rock superstars STEELY DAN joined by renowned British vocalist STEVE WINWOOD, and bona fide rock god MEAT LOAF. There are still many more headline artists to be announced soon!
