Optus had a hugely successful campaign with P!NK and with the help of Waterfront they really utilised the tour to run some amazing promotions and create some great leveraging.
The P!NK Funhouse Tour broke records all over the country with a huge total of 58 shows. P!NK continued her fantastic relationship with Australia right up till the end of August 2009 with Optus as presenting partner every step of the way!
Optus took advantage of their association with the hottest artist in town with thousands of fans jumping on board the Optus tour bus at the concerts and trialing some of the latest in mobile phone technology and online communication. Over 1,000 Under 18’s had exclusive access to the Optus “yes” SESSIONS pre show parties and the special viewing area at the front of the stage with many of these lucky Under 18’s getting the chance to meet P!NK backstage at her concerts.
Waterfront also worked closely with Optus to create exciting promotional campaigns including a national TV ad and instore promotions with opportunities to win tickets and meet P!NK backstage both in Australia and overseas.
Holden and Logitech also enjoyed the success of the Funhouse tour as promotional partners. Holden launched the new Holden ‘Cruze’ while Logitech promoted their funky ‘Ultimate Ears’ – the same earpiece megastars like P!NK use.
Waterfront worked alongside Holden as presenting partner of Carey Hart’s ‘Hart & Huntington Freestyle Tour’. Carey brought the ‘H&H’ Tour down under to be closer to his wife P!NK and showcased a refreshing celebration of modern day cool and the lifestyle that the Hart and Huntington brand represents – art/fashion/music/bikes/cars and the culture… a perfect fit for Holden promoting the new Holden SS Ute. P!nk was performing next door while Holden and Carey put on a show of their own with some high flying motorcycle acrobats over Holden’s new SS Ute and V8 Drift Ute. The shows were FREE around the country and drew huge crowds – and as a special bonus P!nk even dropped in to say hi to Carey and his crew along the way.
Holden were an integral part of a huge national marketing and publicity campaign including press, TV and radio coverage. Holden guests enjoyed the VIP experience at every event with front row viewing in the VIP catered tent and were able to meet Carey Hart up close and personal.
