LOS ANGELES – Taylor Swift may have been the big winner at the American Music Awards, with three gongs including Artist of the Year, but the winner of Dare Iced Coffee “Dare Music Fix” competiton also hit the big time with her “Money Can’t Buy’ experience.
There was a stellar line-up of stars at the event including, Katy Perry, Maroon 5, Justin Bieber, LMFAO, Nicki Minaj, Bruno Mars and Lionel Richie and thanks to Dare and Waterfront Amanda and her friend Sophie sat in the front row and met all their favourite music stars.
Here’s what Amanda had to say about her experience:
Well we are back from LA! We had the time of our lives, thank you so much.
A stretch Limo took us to the awards and we had so much fun, we laughed all the way there. Our driver thought we were crazy I’m sure especially at the end of the night when we sang him all of the songs from the night!!
We walked the Red Carpet with all of the stars it was so surreal! We couldn’t believe it, we were front row. We sat next to Jersey Shore boys, it was funny they thought they were pretty good! Hot Chelle Rae and Gym Class Heroes sat behind us, Doughtry sat at the end of our row.
All of the celebs had to walk past us to either sing or announce nominees. So we weren’t shy and said “Hi” and shook all of their hands. We met Lionel Ritchie who is our absolute favourite and a huge surprise that he was there. Also Adam Lambert, Nicki Minaj, Taylor Swift, LMFAO, Lil Wayne, Selena Gomez, Justin Beiber, The Hoff (lol), Maroon 5, Bruno Mars, Gene Symons, Benjamin Bratt, Jonas Brothers, Glee cast, Mary J Blige, Gym Class Heroes, Jenny McCarthy I could go on and on….not at all name dropping!
Waterfront surprised us and took us backstage to watch Katy Perry sing – WOW. Then we visited the dressing rooms where we saw Katy Perry come back in. We danced the night away at the After Party and didn’t want the night to end!
So from Sophie and myself we wanted to thank Dare for the most amazing night, we will never ever forget it.
